In our region, the average family of four spends roughly $10,000 on energy each year.*
Each of our 2.3 million residents use the following amounts of energy on an annual basis:
- 7,900 kilowatt hours of electricity

*2008. Energy use includes electricity, natural gas and transportation fuels.
Greenwise participants set a high-level objective to reduce energy usage by fifteen percent (15%) per capita, measured against 2008 baseline data.
