We’re creating a self-sustaining economic sector by:

Doubling the number of green jobs from 14,000 to 28,000
Partners: SARTA, local governments, utilities, PACE administrators

Creating a $1 billion investment in the Sacramento’s green economy
Examples: Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) programs (commercial and school building retrofits) green development projects, funding through Proposition 39

Purchasing 20 percent of our food from local farmers and ranchers
Partners: SACOG, Sacramento Convention & Visitors Bureau, school districts, food and agriculture commissioners, farmers and ranchers, restaurants

Creating a regional market for clean technology products
Partners: SARTA, Valley Vision’s Green Capital Alliance, UC Davis, Take Charge Sacramento, school districts, utilities

Retrofitting 25 percent of the region’s homes, commercial and office buildings, and school facilities

Designing a streamlined business permit process
