SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER

Volunteers for this event will plant 25 native trees along a bike path that extends the Davis tree tunnel and shades community members in Yolo County.

Earlier this year, we partnered with the Sacramento Tree Foundation and the Pacific Gas & Electric Company to generate 30,000 tree-planting pledges. Thanks to volunteer organizations, passionate individuals and the business community we generated more than 32,000 tree pledges within a 30-day time frame.

The Sacramento region maintains a legacy through our trees. Years from now, when the trees along the Davis bike path are tall and grown, we can look back and say, “We helped make that happen!”

If you can’t volunteer on January 12, check out the Tree Foundation’s many other volunteer opportunities online.
