Sacramento Area Sustainable Business

Participating Sacramento Area Sustainable Businesses are given a sustainability recognition display sign, and receive free advertising on the program website and newsletter.

The Sacramento Area Sustainable Business program promotes businesses that take voluntary action towards sustainability in the greater Sacramento region. The program recognizes green building practices, efforts to conserve energy and reduce pollution. Participating businesses are given a sustainability recognition display sign, and receive free advertising on the program website and newsletter.
Tip: The certification process can be a bit overwhelming to the sustainability novice. Give them a call if you have questions.

AIR QUALITY

The Sacramento Metro Air Quality Management District offers incentives to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint. The District helps pay for newer, cleaner engines in efforts to reduce air emissions, improve local air quality and help the state meet federally mandated clean-air milestones.
